§ 12-44. County, state and federal permits.

Permits authorized by the village for work within shorelands may need to be supplemented with permits or approvals granted by the county, by the state (under Wis. Stats. ch. 30 or other applicable state regulations) or by the federal government. The village may delay processing of permits or approvals until all other permits are obtained if required by the state or federal agencies or where doing so will give the county information that will be useful and necessary in applying county standards.
