§ 16-29. Complaints; inspection of premises.

Whenever a complaint is made to the village board, village clerk or to any other village employee, the village board, the public works director or any other person designated by the village board shall inspect the complained-of premises, or cause the premises to be inspected. The investigating official shall report of his findings to the village board, verbally or in writing. Whenever practicable, the public works director shall cause photographs to be made of the premises and shall file the same in the office of the village clerk.
