§ 24-22. Containers.

Containers used for the collection of garbage and similar putrescible wastes are the responsibility of the owner or occupant of any village premises. These containers shall not be larger than 30-gallon capacity, shall be of the "normal" garbage container type, and shall be covered, leakproof, durable and of easily cleanable construction. They shall be cleaned frequently to prevent nuisances or insect breeding and shall be maintained in good repair.
