§ 26-31. Construction permit required.

No person shall lay, remove, replace or repair any public sidewalk within the village unless he is under contract with the village to do such work or has obtained a zoning permit therefor approved by the zoning committee and the public works director at least seven days before work is proposed to be undertaken. The application for a permit under this section is available in the village clerk's office. The fee charged for such permit shall be as provided in the village fee schedule.
