§ 6-54. Fire-retardant roofing.

Every roof hereafter constructed within the fire district shall be covered with a roofing having a fire-resistive rating equivalent to Class B or better. No roofing on any existing roof shall be renewed or repaired to a greater extent than one-tenth of the roof surface, except in conformity with the requirements of this section.
