§ 6-121. Village permits required; certain activities require county or state permits.

(a)

Village zoning permit. No building activity shall be performed in the village or ground broken therefor until a zoning permit has been issued by the village and the applicable fee, if any, has been paid. Zoning permit fees shall be in the amount provided in the village fee schedule.

(b)

County or state building permits. Some construction activities may require additional county or state permits. The applicant is responsible for obtaining any permits required in addition to the village zoning permit required by this section. Any village zoning permit shall be revoked if the applicant fails to timely secure from the state and county all building, electrical, plumbing or other permits as may be required.
