§ 8-107. License required.

(a)

No person shall engage in the business of peddler, hawker, trucker, solicitor, canvasser or transient merchant within the village without first obtaining a license from the village clerk in compliance with the provisions of this article.

(b)

Nothing in this article shall be construed to require a license for the sale of raffle tickets and club memberships; provided, however, that such sales within the village must be in strict compliance with applicable county and state regulations.
