§ 6-124. Application for village zoning permit; time for review.

  • (a)

    Application for a zoning permit shall be made in writing upon a form furnished by the village clerk and shall be accompanied by a sketch of the proposed building activity, plans required by this article, proof of compliance with county permit requirements (if proof of this is not provided there is potential for the revoking of the zoning permit), a fee in the amount provided in the village fee schedule and such other supporting documentation as the village clerk may require. The application shall state the name and address of the owner of the land and of the building, if different, the legal description of the land on which the building is to be located and such other information as the village clerk may require.

    (b)

    All zoning permit applications will be approved or denied within 60 days of receipt by the village of the application and all additional requested supporting data, unless extended by the village board to allow time for conditions to be met and corrective action, if any, to be taken.
